e-Collaboration Workshop
Access Grid, Portals and other Virtual Research Environments for the Social Sciences mini-workshop to be held at the 2nd International Conference on e-Social Science, Manchester, June 2006.
We held a successful workshop on Portals and VREs last year at the conference, and this year we are focusing on collaboration tools using both portals and Access Grid. A substantial part of the workshop should focus on requirements, potentially combining these two technologies, as well as reporting on progress and uptake of collaboration tools within existing projects and environments.
We are now seeking speakers for this workshop. If you wish to make a presentation or have suggestions for a discussion theme please contact one of the organisers, Rob Allan, Rob Crouchley or Mike Daw. Presentations will be informal, so we do not need a full paper, but please suggest a title and short abstract.
