Contary to some recipes, this does not have any fat or yeast in it - so you can eat as much as you like!

From memory, so check first:

Mix 2 cups SR flour and 1 cup brown soft sugar (Billington's demerara). Mix in the fruit and tea. Mix in one beaten egg.

Mix 1 (2?) cup(s) SR flour and 1 cup brown soft sugar (Demerara). Mix in the fruit and tea. Mix in one beaten egg.

Cook in 2lb greased bread tin in a cool oven 150C for 1 3/4 hours.
